报告人简介:
Dr. Ying Ge received a B.S. from Peking University in 1997 and a Ph.D. from Cornell University in 2002. After graduate school, Dr. Ge first served as a scientist at Wyeth Research (now Pfizer) and then as a group leader in PPD. In 2006, Dr. Ge joined UW-Madison as the founding Director of Mass Spectrometry in Human Proteomics Program. In 2012, Dr. Ge started her tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Cell and Regenerative Biology and Department of Chemistry. She is currently an Associate Professor at UW-Madison. Dr. Ge’s research is highly interdisciplinary that cuts across the traditional boundaries of chemistry, biology, and medicine. She has made important contributions to cardiac proteomics and systems biology.
